Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26th, 1991) better known by her professional title Ari Lennox is an American musician and singer who hails from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be affiliated with J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. Her debut EP Pho, released which was released on 21 October 2016 was released on Dreamville Records. The singer began to earn fame. Shea Butter Baby her debut studio release was May 7th 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her music to the Internet in 2012, when she released her debut mixtape Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. In 2014 she continued to upload her music via the internet, including her self release single Bound. The 21st of July, 2015 was the day Omen featured her on his album Elephant Eyes on the track Sweat It Out. J. Cole was interested in her talents and was keen to work together with Rihanna.
